We’ve been teaching martial arts to the Maidenhead community for many years, originally based at Pinkneys Green Youth & Community Centre, before moving to Furze Platt War Memorial Hall in 2021.
Children’s Martial Arts in Maidenhead
Kazoku’s popular ju jitsu classes will instil your child with confidence, focus and discipline, whilst letting them have lots of fun and make new friends. All whilst improving their fitness and coordination.
Our Junior Ju Jitsu programme for 7 to 13 year olds runs weekly at Furze Platt War Memorial Hall. Through martial arts, we help kids to:
Get fit
Gain confidence and avoid bullying
Develop concentration and focus
Respect each other and work together
Above all, have fun!
Adult Martial Arts in Maidenhead
Our adult ju-jitsu programme runs in Maidenhead every Wednesday, in addition to our High Wycombe classes. If you’d like to come and have a go, please click the button below to get in touch. We accept men and women of all ages and fitness levels.
Beginners (age 14+, to orange belt): Wednesdays, 7:30-8:30pm
Intermediate/Advanced (age 14+, green belt and above): Wednesdays, 8:30-9:30pm.

Directions
Coming from the direction of the town centre, drive up Furze Platt Road towards the T-junction and traffic lights near Furze Platt Senior School. The hall is on the left, just after the BMW Bahnstormer dealership and before you reach the traffic lights. St Peter’s Church is on the opposite side of the road.
There is a car park just through the entrance gate in front of the hall. See the map below for the exact location.
